More powerful reason behind this case is deforestation.
1. In BRAZIL , cattle farmers starts fire to clear deforestation ( while it is illegal) they do so for making their way to increase their business. which in results reduce forest area .
2. In dry seasons like right now, climate changes and with its combination Human activities are the reason for fire.

Mainly amazon has only 2 seasons , first 6 months it leads to Dry season , and then the other 6 are Wet seasons.
